TERMS & CONDITIONS AND CANCELLATION POLICY
By paying your deposit or full amount, you have automatically agreed to the terms and conditions below.
It is up to the event planner to ensure that external catering is allowed on the premises where they choose to book their event. Please ask your venue if they require permission, public liability or other details and documentation in order for us to fulfill our services on premises.
Booking Procedures:
A 50% Deposit is required at the time of booking within 6-month timeframe of event. 50% balance is due one week (7-days) before event. If your event is within 1 month of booking, full payment will be required. Service is subject to NC sales tax and municipality tax, if applicable.
General cancellations:
If you choose to cancel your booking from the time the deposit has been made until 7 days before the event, you'll get 50% of your deposit back.
Cancellations within 7 days of the event, your full 50% deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel within 7 days and you have paid the amount in full, you'll receive 50% of your full amount paid back.
Rescheduled event policy:
In the event that the Customer wishes to reschedule the booking for any reason, including due to any imposed restriction resulting from a force majeure event, any rescheduling of the booking will only be effected once confirmed in writing by La Stella Gelato and subject to the following provisions:
• If the Customer wishes to reschedule the date of the booking, La Stella Gelato will make all reasonable attempts to accommodate the new date, however is under no obligation to provide service on the new date. This is at the sole discretion of La Stella Gelato.
• Any rescheduled date must be within twelve (12) months of the original booked date.
• The customer has the benefit of this clause once, and only once.
Inclement Weather:
It is up to the event organizer to arrange for wet weather alternative for service.
If a Wet weather alternative is not arranged/provided at time of arrival and your event is rained out, you will not be entitled to a refund or credit.
Should we need to cancel your event due to circumstances beyond our control, a full refund will be issued.
Marketing:
La Stella Gelato promotes its service through various media including print, web and social media. By booking our services, you consent to the use of images or videos captured at your event for marketing purposes, unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing prior to the event.
Other Important Notices:
La Stella Gelato reserves the right to cancel a booking if full payment isn’t made.
. The Customer must ensure there is a safe way of moving the gelato cart through the event location. The cart cannot be wheeled up steps or on soft surfaces, such as sand.
Any damages caused by the client or venue will be charged accordingly.
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Customer and the Company regarding the services provided and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
